Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup Karo syrup
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 brown paper grocery bag
  • Plain popcorn
Directions:
Pop popcorn kernels.

Remove any unpopped kernels and place in grocery bag.

Combine butter, brown sugar, salt, karo syrup, cinnamon in microwave safe dish for 2 min.

Stir. Cook for 2 more min.

Add baking powder. Stir.

Pour mixture over popcorn in bag quickly as it will begin to harden. Shake bag as you pour. (This is a 2 person job).

Roll bag closed and microwave for 2 min.

Take out and shake vigorously.

Microwave 2 min.

Shake vigorously again.

Quickly pour out onto aluminum foil.

Heat hot while soft or let cool and it will harden.

2 people should be involved for the pouring of the hot carmel syrup onto the popcorn. One person should pour while the other shakes bag to ensure even coating of popcorn.



Quickly soak dish in water after pouring out caramel syrup for easiest cleaning.

If you don't shake enough then it can burn and make the microwave STINKY!!!!
